Privacy policy effective April 22, 2020

Dr. Podbielski Foundation, located in Poznań, 61-821 at Ogrodowa 12 Street, as a Personal Data Administrator informs you about the purposes, methods and scope of processing your personal data. In accordance with Article 13 of RODO, what your data we process, what legal basis for processing we use, how long we keep your data, and whether and to whom we share it.

Dr. Podbielski Foundation is the Personal Data Administrator:

  • people participating in projects implemented by the foundation
  • Foundation donors and contributors.

2 Ways of processing personal data

We store the personal data we process electronically on rented servers and laptops. We process data via email and the cloud for file storage. Both paper data and digital data are properly secured by us in accordance with the RODO.

Personal data entrustment agreements with data protection principles are entered into with entities that need to process personal data administered by us in order to provide services.

Our sites use cookies for statistical purposes and to better tailor the site to your needs. The legal basis for processing is the legitimate interest of the administrator (RODO art.6.1.f).

Cookies can be deleted by the User through the appropriate functions of the Internet browser, programs for this purpose or using the appropriate tools available within the operating system used by the User.

You sign up for the newsletter:

We collect your email address for the purpose of sending informational mailings about the Foundation's activities. The data is processed in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the RODO, which allows us to process personal data on the basis of freely given consent.

We store your data until you opt out of receiving the newsletter.

You participate in projects/events that are the implementation of our statutory activities:

The Foundation processes personal data obtained in the course of carrying out its statutory activities. If you participate in trainings, workshops, meetings, conferences, seminars, film screenings, research, order materials created as part of ongoing projects, etc., we process your data, i.e. name, e-mail address, telephone number, in justified cases of implementation the Foundation may collect additional data such as address of residence, etc.

The data is processed in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the RODO, which allows personal data to be processed on the basis of freely given consent.

You make a donation to us:

You can support the Dr. Podbielski Foundation financially by making donations by wire transfer to a bank account or through the Tpay system.

In the case of a donation made to us by wire transfer to a bank account, we process personal data provided to us by the bank, i.e.: name, account number, donation amount, address. The legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the DPA, i.e. the agreement between the parties, and Article 6(1)(c) of the DPA, i.e. the fulfillment of a legal obligation.

We may use the data received in the transfer to send you thanks for your payment. If you do not wish to receive them, please send us an objection to: kontakt@podbielski.pl.

In the case of a donation made through the Tpay system, we collect: name, email address and optionally postal code and telephone. This is necessary for the execution of the contract and the fulfillment of our legal obligations. Provision of mandatory data is voluntary, but necessary for the donation.

Your data can be accessed by employees on the basis of written authorizations to process personal data, as well as the bank, Tpay and the accounting office on the basis of an agreement on entrustment of personal data processing.

4. your rights in relation to the processing of personal data

You have the right to request from the Personal Data Administrator access to your personal data, receive a copy of your data, rectification, deletion, restriction of the processing of personal data, object to the processing of personal data, transfer of your personal data to another administrator in accordance with applicable regulations.

If you believe that your data is being processed in violation of the law - you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority - the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.

5 .Other information

Your personal data is not subject to automated decision-making, including profiling.

Provision of data is voluntary, but necessary for the implementation of the various activities of the Dr. Podbielski Foundation.

If the processing of personal data is based on consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time.

Your data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area.

The Foundation uses appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure an adequate level of information security and to prevent unauthorized access to personal data, its disclosure, protection against its misuse, loss, alteration or destruction.
